Originally written by Rickard, Secret Weapons section written by Wolbum, edited by Narlgoth. Goblins only have agility access, limiting options.īased on an original guide taken from the Lrb4 archives and edited for relevance. Goblins have very limited ball handling ability, with only average AG3 and Stunty hampering any chance of a good passing game. Except for the Trolls and Fanatic, Goblins are exclusively ST2. Trolls also have Really Stupid AND Loner meaning they can also ruin your game at the worst possible moment! Those Secret Weapons may be super fun but they're also super unreliable! They can just as easily tip the game in favour of your opponent, not to mention leave you down a few players once they've all been sent off. Games against Dwarves and other heavy Bashers in particular can quickly turn nightmarish for a Goblin coach! Stunty makes Goblins fairly soft, and as a match progresses the Dead/Injured box tends to fill with little Green bodies. One turn touchdowns are yours for the taking!įragile. Goblins also have an exclusive Bribe discount (50K each instead of 100K), helping their Secret Weapons stay on. 40K per basic Goblin makes casualty replacement a minor concern and makes the possibility of strategic Fouling viable.Ĭheap Bribes. Goblins have an average MA6 greatly improved by the Dodge/Stunty combo, allowing them to Dodge +3 with reroll anywhere regardless of Tackle Zones.ĭirt Cheap. ![]() Chainsaws, Ball and Chain, Bombs, all of it! They can cause devastating damage to the opponent.ĭecent Mobility. They may be chaotic and quite fragile, but in the hands of a particularly cunning Coach, Goblins can at least give the higher tier teams a run for their money! ![]() However, as with all Stunty teams, Goblins can be very difficult to win with, and a less experienced Coach should take this into consideration before just diving straight in. Goblins (or Gobbos) have always been one of the more 'fun' teams to play in Blood Bowl and with the addition of secret weapons to their starting roster, they are now more entertaining then ever! A game featuring Goblins will always be filled with wacky events and will often be total mayhem! ![]() They don't move particularly fast, they are very weak and are usually injured or killed during the game…and sometimes due to their own fault (handling a chainsaw can be dangerous).<<< Back to Racial Strategies and Rosters They are true masters in the art of violating rules and will use illegal weapons like chainsaws or giant ball and chains, blows below the belt and fouling.Ĭheating aside, Goblins are not very efficient at anything. Goblins are agile but their real strength lays in their deviousness. While the chances of them blocking anything larger than a Halfling are remote, this never seems to bother Goblin players and the use of a particularly devious secret weapon will even allow a Goblin team to win a match. Goblins make quite good catchers because they are small and agile, but the art of throwing is sadly lost to them. A Goblin team's game plan owes much more to hope than potential.
